Born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I’ve been passionate about art and creating as far back as I can remember. It started with finger paints, crayons, markers, colored pencils, poster paints, and then progressed into watercolors,, chalk and oil pastels, charcoal, gouache, inks, and finally oils and acrylics,
Arts and crafts supplies were abundant in my house, thanks to my Mom. She always had pipe cleaners, popsicle sticks, yarns, beads, glitter, scissors, glues, sequins, googly-eyes, construction paper, pom-poms - you name it, we had it.
When other kids were at camps with pools, I was at art camp. When most teens were sleeping in till the last possible moment before school, I was at school an hour early to work on the current project in Honors Art, worked on it at lunch, and days I didn’t have dance or theatre, I stayed after for a while.
Yep… obsessed is a word I’ve heard a LOT in my life.
